Privacy
We collect the minimum needed to build and ship your order, and nothing more.
What we collect
- Order details: your name, email, phone number, billing and shipping address, and the products you ordered. These are collected by Stripe at checkout and shared with us to fulfil the order.
- Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Emails you send us and our replies, so we can help with fitment questions and support.
- Your cart is stored only in your own browser (local storage) and is never sent to us until you check out.
What we don't do
- No advertising trackers, analytics cookies or social media pixels. This site sets no cookies of its own.
- We never sell or rent your details.
Who we share data with
Stripe (payment processing), our manufacturing partner and carriers (your name and shipping address, so the order can be built and delivered), and our email provider. Each processes your data under their own privacy policy and only as needed for your order.
Fonts
Headings and body text are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers; Google may log the request. See Google's privacy policy for details.
Retention
Order records are kept for as long as required for warranty, accounting and tax purposes (TODO: confirm retention period, e.g. 7 years). Support emails are kept for 2 years.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need it. Email hello@overdriveexhausts.com.
TODO: add the data controller's legal name and address, and confirm the applicable privacy law (e.g. GDPR / CCPA) with a lawyer.
